Dogwood Trailblazers Neosho Walk

Neosho is known as the “Flowerbox City” of southwest Missouri and dogwood trees are abundant in springtime. Walk follows paved trail along Hickory Creek, by older residential areas, through nation’s oldest federal fish hatchery and historic downtown. Big Spring Park is the location where the town started in 1839.

Location: Fastrip/Conoco Convenience Store, 301 W. Coler          From I-44, Exit 18 south on Hwy. 59. At Hwy. Business 60, turn right (west) and follow Bus. 60/College St. to Neosho. Fastrip is on your right at the light at College and Coler. From the north on Hwy. 71, continue south on Hwy. 59 at the I-44 and Hwy. 71 junction. Follow directions as above. Walk box is in the office. A drive of about 3/4 mile is required to reach the walk start. Restrooms available at the registration point but not at the walk start.
