Walk passes through historic Carthage Square to Civil War Battlefield Site. The 5km walk tours a historic homes neighborhood.
Location: Carthage Fire Station, 401 W. Chestnut From I-44 take US 71 north to MO Hwy 96 and US 71 junction. Turn right (east) on Hwy 96/Central Ave. to Garrison. Turn right (south) on Garrison to Chestnut. Start point on northwest corner. From US 71 from the north, turn left (east) on Hwy 96/Central Ave. and proceed as above.
